Thanks for the awesome fishing day on "Tag N Stick" a nice 54 ft Blackwell from Manteo, North Carolina. Great day at the mushroom (off lighthouse near HT) caught Marlin & Dolphin. Wonderful and fun group of people on board. They tag and release all the Marlins brought to the boat. Migratory patterns of the marlins species are not well understood, stressing the need for more research.
Enjoyed the day, Thanks again!!!

Sounds like you had a great day. Any chance you have some photos to post?
Must be nice sounds like fun any big fish whites are blues. Terry and myself and few other friends went out of Hatteras last Thursday, rough as you know what, could hardly stand up on a 57'. As the day went on it layed down and made it much better. Had a great day had about 450 lbs. of tuna alot of them in the 50 to 75 lb. class. A few small dolphin some bulls just starting to show up. Anyway see you soon.

Hey Dagoose-Thanks for asking. I wish I got some photos but my digital was not fast enough. Got a few at the side of the boat, but nothering real good. Do they tag Marlins on the Pacific side??
Hey KI- Sounds like you had a great day off Hatteras. More fish get caught in rough seas. Save some fish for uas as we will be up your way at the end of summer. We had a nice 50lb white Marlin at the boat, not huge. Sunday we got a nice 50lb bull dolphin as the wind finally came around to the SE, along with few smaller dolphins and 1 small yellowfin.
C-ya in June, along with 1/2 of North Carolina.

Nice testimonial Patti. Did you catch the marlin? We've got a good tuna and dolphin bite going now. A few wahoo and a fair number of marlin, mostly blues. Looks like a good season shaping up.

Hi Hank G- Not this time. Glad your fishing is starting to pick up. Just remember everytime you get a big bull dolphin, blue Marlin we probably missed it down here. We had many stories this year about big Tuna's throwing the hook, even had it straightened a few times.
Good luck and catch'm up!!!

Patty and Eddy,
I second Big Fish..........."they tag and release all the MARLIN'S brought to the boat but my digital wasn't fast enough".
You're killing me!
Glad you had a good day on the water.
Here on the left coast Marlin are few and far between. May get one per 50 hours fished during the 2 month season if you're good. Tag and release is popular.
The tuna just showed up but they're 100 miles southwest off Mexico and it's spotty at best. 10-15 lb fish.

Rock Steady- Let's get together and fish. We are catching anything that gets close to the boat, what slips away is yours. See you at Cracker P's, gotta love that view....
DaGoose- Glad to hear they are tagging the Marlin, I do have to read more about it.
Big Fish- We just purchased a Kristal deep drop reel, Oh Boy!!!!
Nice hearing from you, and C-ya reel soon....
