Fishing Guides Needed

Hello everyone,

This is my first post ... I hope I do it right.

I'm staying at Dolphin Beach (Guana Cay) October 21-26. I'm looking for someone to take my husband and two of his friends deep-sea fishing for a half-day on Friday, October 22. I'm also looking for someone to take my husband and one other guy bonefishing for a half-day on Sunday, October 24.

I've tried to call a few people, but I guess phone service is still spotty.

If you know of anyone or if you'd like to offer your services, please send me an e-mail at suebuech@mindspring.com. This is a surprise trip for my husband's birthday, so I hesitate to put my phone number.

I've been reading the board and it seems as if most of you are recovering well ... Glad to hear it!

Thanks R. I've been trying to reach Henry Sands for a week, but no answer on the phone and no reply from e-mail. I'm not on the island, so the VHF isn't an option for me. I appreciate the response though, and I'll keep trying!

Henry is away on a crawfishing trip. The phones are still down here on Guana and may not be back on for a long time. Ruth may not be able to access her e-mail if she uses dial up service. I can pass a message to Ruth tomorrow and give her your e-mail address and she can use someone's computer that is up and maybe help you.

The only other I would recommend in the Cays would be Robert Lowe on Seagull out of Hopetown. I have known Robert for years, and if there are fish around Robert will find them.
Robert will pick you up on Guana for an extra charge, or you can take your boat down to Hopetown
Robert is regarded by most (including Henry) as the best fisherman in all of the Abacos.
