First, I wish to thank everyone for such valuable insight into the islands. We have been planning our trip for the past six months and have become a regular visitor to the forum. Since we have finally reached the double digit numbers in our countdown, we decided to jump in with our first post.

We are coming to paradise 29 Jul - 5 Aug and have compiled our list of places to go and things to do. Leaving time to adjust where and as needed. We will continue to learn from those before us, again thanks.

I am thinking of starting a fund for both Peach and Lil Gecko (and spouses) so that they can be on GGC in late June. Really gonna miss meeting you all.

Thanks, Jeff - we would love to meet you and your "Cool Chick" bride too and feel confident that will happen - we actually normally would have been on Great Guana your week, but my district caught me at a weak moment and I agreed to teaching our summer school program - thus we are now doing our summer trip in july and august!
visit L'il Gecko and take a couple pictures of my flowers and send them please - i miss them almost as much as the great people of Great Guana Cay

17 days and counting! I wish it was more in the forefront of my mind, but this wedding in 10 days is kinda important!

I've done a lot of planning for things to take and not so much of the things to do when we get there, I hope that's going to work out...

Need a "lists" thread, I'm sure I'll forget something otherwise!

We have chartered a Power Cat from Atlantic Charters in Marsh Harbour and plan to check areas from Baker's Bay to Tilloo Cay. Snorkeling areas in between, an offshore fishing trip, the Pig Roast at Nipper's on Sunday, and alot of relaxation. Still to many days to go, hope the clock runs slow once we arrive.

38 days, and another big "tip 'o the hat" to the members of this board for taking the time to pass along their many experiences.

Sure made our first trip to the Abacos a real vacation...we're so relaxed about getting ready to go back this time, it's like a mini vaction in itself<G>

You folks are great

Oh my gosh! 59 days to go!! I just realized after looking at the other posts how short the wait is now. Can't wait to get there. I guess I can start playing my Barefoot Man cd's now and start getting on island time :)
