Julie asked us to post, internet coming back only slowly on GTC
*********************
As you may be aware we were unfortunate enough to have two hurricanes pass over our island within 3 weeks of each other. We lost our phone at our office after the first hurricane and then the second hurricane took out our US number and internet access. However my phone at home is now working so please contact me at 242-3654465, I am normally here early in the morning or after 5 pm. If you had a reservation and were unable to come because of the hurricanes please be assured that we will refund your deposit or if you choose to we can hold it for a future booking.
Apart from the phones still being out the island is making a great recovery and it is heart warming to see the whole community pulling together. Lesley and I would also like to send a big thank you to everyone who e-mailed, called, prayed and worried about us during both hurricanes. So many people have taken us and the island itself into their hearts that it makes me feel so blessed to live here and to meet so many nice people everyday who love the island as much as we do.
Please be assured that apart from loosing some trees and a lot of shingles the island has not lost its beauty and we look forward to you visiting our island soon.
