Good job. I always thought The Eagles, "The Last Resort" from Hotel California fit this situation too. "Some rich men came and raped the land, nobody caught em. Put up a bunch of ugly boxes, and Jesus, people bought em. They called it paradise, the place to be. .....They called it paradise, I don't know why. If you call it paradise, kiss it goodbye."

I've got tons of songs, over 3400 on my iPod, and this one reminds me of the Bakers Bay situation. Different setting, they're talking about out west and the destruction and removal of indians, but it's similar. Someone call all these artists and have them do a Save Guana Cay fundraiser album. Rock On!

Tequila Gecko - who is perfoming "Paradise" on the slide show? I need some more of their music.

Thanks

Poignant. Devastating. I am afraid to say too much because I don't want to go too far on this site. Thanks for putting that together. It needs a large audience, and often, so that people who are not on Guana on a daily basis won't forget.

I saw it this morning, just now showed my husband, great work in 1 day! Awesome job, extremely sad contents.

This morning our 8 year old asked, "how can they do that to the fish and animals I love?". I truly hope he's learning from the folks that love Guana that if you believe in something enough, you fight for it as hard as you can, and at the very least, you respect the environment.

I'm sure if anyone here was for this travesty we would all be silenced. In the past that was the threat.

Our voices are growing. Maybe too late but I don't think so.

if you haven't read it take the time.

If anyone’s looking for that tune in particular – lots of artists have recorded it – the title is “Big Yellow Taxi”…
