The rate from airport to dock is $12. He told us $14. $20 per hour for wait time we never asked for. I figured of course we would pay him for watching our bags, but he was allowed to go pick up other fares. Got in cab at 2pm and was at dock at 3:50pm. Doesn't compute no matter how you slice it. Everyone (other cabbies especially) we talked to says we should report him. Which we plan to and let the Taxi Commission sort it out.

There is a difference between what is allowed and what is right. He took advantage imho.

Thanks for the pictures of Seaside. Does Bob think there is any chance they'll be open earlier then December as you mentioned before? We're wondering if we neeed to look elsewhere for our Thanksgiving trip.

Top of the morning Pat!

Thanks for the pics and all your efforts in giving us a sense of the havoc caused by Frances & Jeanne. Like Dinger, we're supposed to be @ Seaside for Thanksgiving weekend. I spoke to Gerry yesterday and she wasn't optimistic about Nov. She indicated they were expecting a delivery of repair supplies this week and will have a better fix on a possible schedule soon after.
