I know I am not going to get much sympathy, but I leave in two days for a ski trip to Breckenridge. I have been watching the 10-day forecasts -- highs in the teens and twenties, lows in the teens and single digits, with snow showers predicted for most of our trip. I hate to say this, as much as I like Breck and skiing, I am not looking forward to this. I live in Central Florida, the weather has been glorious, I have been longingly watching this board, and I really wish we had planned a trip to somewhere warm instead. Breck just isn't going to cure my spring fever. So all of you planning spring trips, enjoy what will probably be some fantastic weather and think of this poor Florida gal freezing her tail off in Colorado. :(

This lucky gal is leaving CO for the Abacos soon! Yahooooo...
But, You will have a great time in Breckinridge too. 2 days ago, it was 72 degrees. Only in CO.
Also, the snow falling today is the wet variety. Hope it changes back to our famous powder when you get here:) .

Patti - Are you in the mountains? They are predicting zero degrees with wind chill tomorrow! Yikes! Last time we went skiing in Breckenridge, you guys had the record March blizzard that closed down Denver airport for 4 days. We were stranded in Minneapolis, MN. until they were able to clear things out. No offense to the folks in MN, but I hope to never spend even a minute in the Mall of America again! Have fun in the Abacos!

How about making us a "snow dolphin" or a "snow kalik" with some of that snow and post the pic on this board? Next time maybe you might want to plan a ski & sea trip. My brother flew from Spokane to New Mexico for skiing, shipped his skis home (minus the boots) then flew on to Florida. Got a picture of him sitting on the Florida beach with his ski boots on. Funny thing, I never got a pic of him skiing in his swim trunks :) !?!
