While reading through the SSCA Discussion Board I chanced to encounter some information about the damage Hurricane Ivan did to Grenada. The devistation Ivan wrought to this beautiful island was terrible and extensive, damaging 90% of all homes.

I've lived through lots of hurricanes, most of which I saw from a distance. However, the pictures of destruction I found on this website were a real eye-opener! They, along with all the pictures that have been posted from the Abacos, Grand Bahama, and coastal Florida have made me better appreciate how small and insignificant we really are when Mother Nature runs wild.
