After checking with Cingular they will charge me $1.00 per minute incoming and out going calls ...they even charge you per minute if you do not answer the call...Do you thing it would be wiser to get a Bahamas cell phone and number ?? has anyone done this ? What are the charges and where should I purchase from ?? Many Thanks !!

Have you ever used the Batlco calling card? Rates aren't too bad. I use them whenever I'm in Abaco. Of course, it won't work if you need incoming calls but so many rental homes now have phones.

I think that I have decided to with a Sat Phone using Globalstar.....I guess this should work ??
