Hi, all. Can anyone recommend a good, reliable contractor in GTC or Treasure Cay? Our family has a 75-yr old Loyalist home on GTC and it’s definitely in need of some TLC. I’d like to find a local contractor who can a) have a look and tell us what's needed to ensure the house lasts another 75 years and b) perhaps take on any of the more complex (i.e. non-cosmetic) stuff that we couldn’t handle ourselves. Any suggestions?

Why not call Reggie Sawyer 242-365-4268. He's been building homes for a couple of decades at least. He's great but often busy. You can find info on him with a google search on "Reggie Sawyer Abaco"

Hi, there. Thank you. Yes, I had heard that Reggie Sawyer is good, but often busy. He's on my list to call. If anyone has any other suggestions, in case he's not available, I'd appreciate it.

Hi, Abaco Potcake. Thank you! Someone had sent me a msg with some of those names, but you've saved me the trouble of having to track down the numbers!
Has anyone had the experience of renovating a home in GTC? What are the challenges we should be prepared for? (Aside from the usual "everything takes twice as long and costs twice as much as you expect"?) :-)
Thanks,
Shelby
