Thank you will weatherford for posting hotel opening dates. remember, those viewing that the Bahamas adheres to the british ways of dates putting the day first, THEN the month, then the year. Hoteliers will be working super hard to get people to come back. Their will be a huge cleaning and sprucing up effort and believe it or not, all properties will come back newer and better than ever. The lack of green vegetation will be replaced by bright green in a few weeks. Docks will be repaired quickly. Locals will love to have visitors come and hear the stories of the twin storms. The sky and the water colours are always the most beautiful in the world and the Bahamian people will get their jobs back, sell their fresh conch, and all the rest. Recovery depends on us. Visit the Bahamas this year and you will be doing a great thing for their tiny and fragile economy. And the happy and strong Bahamians will welcome you with more than the usual open arms.
