okay this is a silly question, but important to a mother of a toddler

what type of milk do they carry at Gauna; whole milk (called homogonized in canada) or 2%? and what days do they get fresh shipments in. My 20 month old goes through at lease a gallon and half a week, and i want to plan my shopping tips accordingly (ei, don't want to run out before the next shippment arrives)

The milk usually comes in on Thursday. They have whole, 2% and skim. It comes from McArthur dairy in Miami.

Sometimes on busy weeks the milk may run out on Tuesday but there is always a good supply on Thursday

Yes, it will taste differently, but it is still milk (and you can use the evaporated milk for other purposes such as coffee whitener, culinary purposes etc.
In case your son likes sweetened milk, get a can of sweetened concentrated milk (Borden's, Nestle or whatever), and dilute it to milk strength.
In case your son would like to have a sweet bread spread, take a can of sweetened condensed milk, boil it for 1 or 2 hours in a water bath so that the contents caramelize, cool it, open the can very very carefully, and you will have a beautiful bread spread.
