Abaco "decorations" for the wife??!!

I am putting this on here because I know my wife, Sandy, won't see it and I know Craig won't tell her....

I would like to meet some people on here that would be willing to help me in getting some "stuff" from Abaco, for Sandy. She misses the place and I'd like to get some stuff sent over, stuff that would only be found on Abaco.

If anyone would be willing to discuss this with me, you can email me privately or post here on the board and we can discuss the finer details.

As I have never been there, I'd be at a loss to ask for anything particular, so if you good folks can help me out, please drop a line!

Two fantastic books you can order from amazon.com The Fledgling by Chester Thompson and Out-Island Doctor by Evans Cottman. Both are autobiographies of growing up in the Abacos. A subscription to Abaco Life magazine- beautiful magazine with great artwork on each cover. Order that by mailing your name and address info. ( plus $25 for 8 issues) to Abaco Life PO box 37487 Raleigh N.C 27627. Also, look at abacoexpressions.com for info on bahamian artists, artwork, etc.

i bought a $10 map at one of the local marina stores in hopetown and had it framed (yes, for more than the price of the map) and it now hangs in my office at work. i absolutely love it.

no trips planned so i can only suggest. good luck!
