Hi there. I've looked through the "places to stay" link on this board, but wanted to ask for advice/opinions. We're looking for somewhere to stay in GTC during the first or second week of January. Doesn't have to be fancy - as long as it's clean and has the basics, we're happy. Most of the places we've come across seem to be house rentals, but because there's just two of us, that can be an expensive option. I know about the New Plymouth Inn, and we're considering that. Any other ideas for small inns/B&Bs/apartment rentals that might be reasonably priced (understanding of course, that we're coming during peak season!)
Thanks in advance,
Shelby
P.S. We'd prefer to stay in the settlement itself, but we don't have to...

Before we built our home we spent many lovely vacations in the South Beach Apartments right in town.

They are located on a small beach with a dock so you can tie up your boat right outside your door. Also an easy walk to restaurants and stores in town, but quiet at night. Inexpensive as it gets for two people and very clean, inside and out. Owned and managed by the owners of Sids' grocery. If you would like more info please feel free to PM or email me. Here's a picture of the dock/beach there.
My husband and I have the same problem. Just the two of us. There are several small rentals in GTC. I have looked at many of them. I usually contact Island Property Management and look at what's available. If you find something give me an e-mail and I'll let you know if I have seen it. We are going smaller this year and are renting the Golden Reef Apartments.
