Hey GTC members: Will there be a festival again next year? If so, have the dates been set?

Why of course, we will be having a festival next year. I dont have the dates on hand but when I get them, I will make sure to get back to you. Take Care, and thanks for asking. :)

We planned last year's trip around the festival. What a blast, big crowds, lots of food & entertainment. Please post those dates, we're looking to do it again!

The festival is planned for May 5, 6 & 7 2006!! The committee is busy planning the 3rd annual Guy Fawkes Night fundraiser for November 5th! There will be a ferry at 5:45 and returning after the burning of the "GUYS" at 10:00....So bring a "GUY" and enter him in the contest! And don't forget your umbrella....I think its part of the British tradition to have a little drizzle of rain! As usual there will be good food and socializing with friends!!!
And Haziewaller we'll have to share pictures with you, but do look forward to seeing you at the festival......

Sounds like I have another excuse to plan a trip to GTC. How crowded was the island during the last fesitval?

Don't wait until the last minute to reserve a house, etc..along with all the visitors coming to enjoy the festival, many of the rooms are also filled with festival entertainers, etc. Also it is also like a homecoming and many GTC descendants living on other Bahamian islands come "home". There are also a lot of day visitors, keeping the ferry running all day long!!! Both festivals have been very successful and hope to see you at the next one!!
