Trying to come up with an itinerary for upcoming trip. Would someone advise approximate trip time from Hopetown to Orchard Bay and Hopetown to Plymouth in a 20' Hydrasport if the sea is calm and wind cooperates? Am only looking for approximation and understand that different variables could affect actual time. Thanks in advance!

From Guana in each direction we allocate about 30 minutes each way, maybe 45 if rougher.
So from Hopetown about 30 minutes to Guana and another 30 + minutes to Green Turtle.
that 20' Hydra is a great boat! I rented it from SeaHorse a year ago and it dealt with everything awesomely!!!!!!

We're also renting from Sea Horse and boy we can't wait! Hope the weather cooperates unlike what they've had the last few days. If not, we'll just have to hole up somewhere on Elbow and kick back a few (or more):D
Definately! Grab a case of kaliks and some limes and you will do just fine (about $50/case american though!). Even though it rains, boating is still fine!

Anybody who has ever been to JazzFest in NO would think that $50 a case was a bargain! But sun, good music and crawfish demand plenty of ice cold beer. Unfortunately it was "Natty Lites" and not Kalik.
