I was looking at the Barometer Bob site and envisioning one of those rare, glassy calm days on the Sea of Abaco. Anyone boating today?

today was beautiful I had to drive and stop in at leisure lee, treasure cay, fire road, cooperstown, cedar harbour, mount hope and crown haven and it was a different beautiful flat calm day the whole way - treasure cay from the point was especially breath taking for my co-worker in from West Palm Beach - he said he wished I had never shown him this as now he would never be able to go back to the florida keys.
I hope tommorow is as good I have to go to tilloo, lubbers, elbow, scotland and guana
and hopefully still have time to squeeze in some fishing
Looks like another absolutely beautiful, hot day again on Guana Cay. Things have quieted down here. The guys are getting ready for the start of crawfish season and many will be pulling out this week-end to head out for what they hope will be better than last year.

This was taken as I pulled into my drive Wednesday; miserable past 2 days. Can't wait to get down next Friday. I'd rather be hot on Guana with a Kalik/Grabber/Nipper/Jolly Bob any day.

Same here in Arizona, Jim. Been running about 109-122 degrees last two weeks with 88 percent humidity ! Come on Abaco !!!! The pool is just not cutting it - water is 94 degrees this AM. Grammie in Arizona
This picture was taken at the Fish Cays looking back towards Guana on 7/27. That was by far the best day of the week. And yes, we released the starfish. We saw hundreds of starfish on the bottom between the Fish Cays and Guana.

Great photo from your Rainbow Rental boat! I recognize it well after a number of years using them. Those sea stars are everywhere, and on a glassy calm day you can see dozens of them at any time from your boat.

Great for fishing, but has there been any rain for the plants and tanks?
Its thundering as I write this post! Keep your fingers crossed. We need some rain on Guana. We sit and watch MH getting soaked and we get by-passed!

Worked outside all day here in Kansas City, Temp was only 104 at noon, If it was Abaco I think that I could handle it, but this stinks. Hopefully I will be joining the countdown soon, hope to be there for Christmas while the Family freezes here. Only time will tell, but to those there and who know they are on the way...Have a great trip even if there is no power, at least your near the sea

Just a few drops in Bahama Palm Shores, but enough to create a gorgeous rainbow right over our home.

As I sit in my office, I notice once again from the Barometer Bob site that it looks like an amazing day for boating in Abaco. Anyone out and about? How great is it? Wish I was there.
