We would like to send our thoughts and prayers to everyone in Abaco. We are frequent visitors to Hope Town and have been thinking of everyone there since hurricane Frances hit. If there is anything we can do to help out, please let us know. We live in Las Vegas, Nevada and will be visiting again in December. We would like to say hello to some of our new friends there including, Gary, Rabinett and Jordan Richardson, Colin and Red, Bill County, and everyone at Elbow Cay Properties and Island Marine. Everyone there is so wonderful and we think of you often. Take Care.

As the eye passes over Hopetown, and all of us who love the Abacos are trying to use our mouse on that d*** hurricane visible sat. image, to move it north, a bit of mild humour. Eons ago, on a primitive bulletin board long before Floyd, I met a fellow Abaco lover named Justin, and along with Sinclair, we decided to write up the now well-known *Abaco is not for sissies* so people would not come expecting casinos, nightlife, etc. We wanted people who felt like we did. Night life is watching the moon and the stars. SO . . .
on a hurricane board just now, I read this post: just back from Guana. they are truly a tough bunch who will ride out another one. there's a reason they say Abaco is not for sissies.
And I smiled to think how much has happened and how much has stayed the same. But in those pre-Floyd days, there had not been a serious blow in Abaco in many years. To all those going through the unimaginable once again, stay safe, and when you finally read this, please take extra care in the days after Jeanne also.
