These are one way, right? Do they have any restrictions or do you just book normally?

Hi Ruth;
I wanted to know if your coupons were one way or round trip and what airline?
Thanks

These are one way tickets on Gulfstream Air/Continental. Therefore, if you want to fly roundtrip you need to have two coupons. The only restriction is they expire 12/15/2005. You make your reservations by calling Continental Intl 1-800-231-0856 ext 5. At that time you can also give them your Continental frequent flyer number (if you have one) and earn frequent flyer points. There are no names on the coupons. You fill in your name on the coupon when you go to the ticketing booth at the airport.

I thought it was difficult to travel to Abaco (or the Bahamas) with just a one way ticket? Some carriers will not let you board, and possibly the Immigration officials will ask to see a return ticket. Would you need to have two of the coupons? I may be confused...could anyone clarify please?

Here is a little secret, of how the "pain" of the "expensive" Gulfstream tickets can be made more pallatable. Let's say you have to pay RT USD 350. This amount is good for
- 1 pax (let's take a 200 lbs male passenger)
- 2 checked pieces of luggage each weighing less than 70 lbs (e.g. 69 lbs)
- 1 piece of carry-on luggage weighing max. 40 lbs.
So, for USD 350, you are entitled to move a total 178 lbs luggage + 200 lbs personal weight x 2 = 758 lbs, comes out to USD 0.46 per pound.
Then make this calculation for
a) Bahamasair
b) any other charter company
on a per person basis. Which result do you get?
This is not a paid advertisement for Gulfstream, and in no way an endorsement. This information is based on direct information from Gulfstream and Continental.

lots of stuff. My countdown is 2 weeks and with my family already on GTC, I'll get a list from my wife that will fill two pages, so I have the fun job of hauling as much as I can pack. I will admit to being a sorry sight in the supermarket trying to find this stuff. Last year I had to call a neighbor after hours of circling the Publix- she took pity on me and came to the store and guided my poor AS$#@ around!

Condtinental does not own or manage Gulfstream.
Continental does handle their bookings/reservations and has a marketing agreement with GS.
