my new bride and i will be in Marsh Harbour on the 2nd at the Lofty Fig (after a few days in Hope Town).
It is within "crawling distance of Sapodilly's" we are told.
If you are gonna be in town let us know and we can have a mini 'board meeting' on Sat.

. . . .your place for Abaco Southern Hospitality - as close as it gets for us Carolina boys. Now, I define Abaco Southern Hospitality as this - where nobody's in a hurry, they acknowledge you're there and it's be worth the wait. So in MHH, just slouch down in those wicker chairs at ol' Sapp's, under the canopy about 8' up, or streetside, and take in the view of the harbour and Bay Street. You might even get lucky and be able to get some fresh conch salad (fresh, as in, they are making it while you watch) from just across the street. You are defenitely a safe crawlin' distance from the Lofty Fig (heck I found the same to be true from the Regatta's, but dats a different story). Sappodilly's has long been a favorite "landing spot" for those just arriving and are waiting on the next ferry to Hope Town or Guana. We found that the staff there is generally "around" in the mornings preparing for the days luch and often can accomodate a soda, etc, if you are looking for a quiet way to start the day and feel the mercury slowly rise with the sun . . . . . . Have a great time - "fall" is a wonderful time to be around the Abaco's.

The best bar is the one that extends west, from the southern end of Tilloo Cay. This is a BYOB Sand Bar.
Go at low water, anchor (away from anybody else, please) in three feet of water and enjoy a rum drink while floating around.
Please don't play any loud music, sound carries a long way across water and if your neighbours at THIS bar really wanted to listen to your music they would probably swim over and ask you to turn up the volume. (Has that ever happened ? )
This Bar is closed from December through May.
