Best Working Ch for Visitors

I know 16 is the calling ch.. I understand several people or govt. agencies have certain channels. However not to step on toes what are some better channels for guest to use on a regular basis.

Use 68 for calling and then switch.

Make sure to listen to the net at 8:15 Am...

Please don't use:

6 (taxis), 22 BASRA), 70 (not allowed or useable), 72 (Hope Town Fire and Rescue), 80 (Marsh Harbour Fire/Police). From time to time there is a request not to use other channels such as 66 during a Hope Town Sailing Club race etc.

Cruisers Net at 8:15AM on 68 repeats these, and any special requests, on a daily basis. From Ch. 68 easiest switches are probably 65,66,67(low power) 69,71,78 and others. The lower end of the spectrum channels are available but often are being used by commercial and other interests switching from Ch. 16.
