Abaco Parrots in Flight

Hi folks -

I shot this photo of the Abaco parrots this spring, but just realized I haven't shared it. I was surprised to find that when in flight, these parrots have incredible colors, surpassing so many of their cousins in Central and South America.

Our Abaco Parrots are so special,wonder where that was taken?

I was with a big group that spent the day driving to different areas in Southern Abaco. This was near Bahama Palm Shores on a beautiful morning. Apparently, its rare to see the whole flock pass overhead like that.
