Johnny announced on the Cruiser's Net that there were some whales out past the outer reef from Nippers and I rushed to get there and I saw a big spout of water and its back came up and back under the water but I was so amazed that I stood there with camera in hand but didn't use it!! Sorry guys! I never saw another one but I heard today that they have been spotted out there a few times this week. I'll try again. But in the meantime, here is another picture of how beautiful it was this morning. Its been so windy lately so today was a very pleasant change!

The whale news is exciting! I Am always on the lookout - there is a little shoal out from Dolphin Beach that often has water breaking and everytime I am down I spot it from the crow's nest and make a mad dash for the binoculars and of course everytime it is still just water breaking on the shoal! Someday Ill see my whale! (and I'll be like you, Pat, forget to take the picture!

we saw one last year while we were easing accross Whale Cut!! It was very cool, and Pat I can relate I just stood there and watched and no picture:confused:
