Phones Working???

Hi Folks,
Just wondering if anyone has heard what is going on in Treasure Cay or Green Turtle with the phone system.
I've been trying to call family on both Cays since early this morning. The Vonage/Vibe system goes straight to voice mail and the local 242 numbers just go into a busy signal.
Anyone know what's happening?

We are experiencing power interruptions almost everyday all over the Abacos due to the current construction of the new BEC power plant.:D

A woman here told me that on GTC a phone cable had been cut when installing water lines. Did have electricity Sat. No phone or BTC internet.

Friday night there was a telephone line fire out by the turnoff to Treasure Cay which put the land lines, cell phones, and internet out in Treasure Cay.

We could call each other in Treasure Cay but nowhere else - and no internet to let anyone know.

Batleco worked all day Saturday until late into the night and today to pull new lines and get us back up. Yeah for them!

Reminded me of the time after the hurricanes with no communications!
